Dr. Alexander is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, associate faculty
in the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics, and a Robert Wood Johnson
Faculty Scholar at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on how
patients, physicians, and other health care providers communicate about
